You could practice putt 2 times a week for 10 minutes a session. That's 80 minutes a month and 960 minutes a year. Almost 1,000 minutes a year. Just think about it, you could practice short putts on two of those weeks a month, and the other two relegated to long putts. That's still 500 minutes a year on each.
Do short putts of tap-ins to 5 footers on your short putting weeks, and do long putts the other weeks like I said. This way you're focusing on certain types of putts like short ones on one week, then do long putts the next week. Or do 2 weeks of long and 2 weeks of short putts.
This way you're not grinding out long putting sessions of 30 minutes to an hour. Most people will quit practice putting if they do half hour to an hour sessions. You don't think you will do you?
Humans are quirky and can't handle failure and having to grind it out to succeed. Why do you think most of us work regular jobs. It's so we don't look dumb making mistakes. That's why those who do succeed at golf,
especially putting will succeed because they practice diligently every week. You notice I didn't say practice everyday. You don't need to frankly.
Just practice your short and long putts each, for two weeks and then do the other for two weeks.
You'll do better and not be so hard pressed to practice putt for an hour a day 3 or 4 times a week.
Much success with this putting tip guys.
Mark
