Okay, Back To Tap-In Putts The Foundation Of Becoming a Great Putter

The only way to become a great Putter is to start pretty much just inches away from the cup. Your ability to control the speed, alignment and way you hit your tap-ins and short putts will hold you well when you start doing longer putts like 5 footers and beyond.

Alright, start by doing tap-ins for 5 minutes. Keep your eye on how you hit the ball. If you actually miss a tap-in start over. This will make it tougher. You can even hit the ball too far when doing tap-ins and this is one time you should start over if you miss one. Also keep an eye on putt stroke control of how far your putt goes. If  your tap-ins always hit the back of the cup constantly, back off on your tap-ins or you'll miss some tappers.

Ya' see, there's more to this tap-in stuff than meets the eye. I consider tap-ins 6 inches to a foot at the most. Do five minutes of 6 inch putts, and 5 of 1 footers. Think it's too easy, then try it. You need a foundation of tap-ins and short putts to become a great putter. Do 10 minutes a day of tap-ins 3 or four times a week.

You can do this, it's tougher than it looks, but will make you a good putter if you don't stop practicing.
